Yip-Yip - Two Kings of The Same Kingdom

Not the Sesame Street's Yip Yips, this is the progressive electro-spaz duo from Florida's Yip-Yip that we're talking about. Compromising two 25-year olds, Brian Esser and Jason Temple. Both have the spirit and enthusiasm to discover music to another level by experimenting with every single source that produces noise. Explore and you'll know what i'm talking about.

Formed in 2001, they have already released two self-released full length albums and an EP, two handmade art zine/CD singles, the CD-R-turned-international-release Pro-Twelve Thinker, and two more 'real' releases, In The Reptile House and the upcoming one, Two Kings of the Same Kingdom.

Two Kings of the Same Kingdom is the fourth full length album which contains 12 new tracks under 25 minutes. February 5, 2008 is the release date.

New additions to the Yip-Yip arsenal of musical instruments on Two Kings include an organ, cymbals, a gong, and a real saxophone, a noticeable departure from the digital horns heard on their previous album. Yip-Yip also experimented with video for the album (a DVD is included with the CD), making a music video for every song using newly acquired, cheap, used equipment. Esser and Temple try to push themselves to their musical limits with each new album, resulting in a sound that is increasingly complex, yet still fun to listen to. The same goes for their live show. The Vandelles

The Vandelles is an experimental band from Brooklyn. Formed as a merger of two local bands - The Mercenary Gang and Del Black Aloha.

The Vandelles take aspects of Link Wray and The Jesus and Mary Chain, The Ronettes and My Bloody Valentine, Buddy Holly and The Ramones, to create a sound thats uniquely theirs.

Lovely Weather and Swell to Heaven are among the most potent and enduring recordings of their era.

This is their self-titled EP released sometime in October 2007.

Onitsuka Tiger developed a new sneaker exclusively for the launch of the new MINI Clubman. This special edition is based on the existing Mexico 66 model, with a touch of little bit here and there to link with the MINI Clubman design. Comes in three colorways - cream, brown and black.

Only selected outlets in Australia will retail this piece for a limited time only.

Steve Smith - This Town

Former Grammy Award winner Dirty Vegas's frontman Steve Smith moved to Boston in search for a new beginning since the band disbanded in 2005. He began composing songs and created his first solo album, This Town.

On this album, Smith collaborates with notable talents like Anthony Saffery, Claudia Gonson, Terry Barber, Jay Ungar and Rob Swift.

The result is a delightful fusion of sound that blends folk, rock, electronica and Smith's inherent songwriting ability. Listen to Hit Me Up here.
