Cat Power - Jukebox

Jukebox is Cat Power's second album of covers. This one is a tribute to some of the world's greatest, the finest vocalists who had influenced her over the career years - featuring covers of Bob Dylan, James Brown, Billie Holiday and many more.

She's backed by Dirty Delta Blues for this album, and featured guest appearances include Spooner Oldham, Larry McDonald, Teenie Hodges and Matt Sweeney.

Scheduled to release on January 22, 2008.

A little story on Simkins by UP...

Greg "Craola" Simkins was found in a cornfield being raised by mice and all other sorts of weird creatures at the tender age of 3. His new parents were shocked to see that this poor boy had lived solely on mouses milk and corn his entire short life. With plenty of therapy and mind washing experiments, he quickly acclimated to his new environment. After years of being with his new family, he focused on a small talent he had for drawing. For some reason, all he could focus on with his art were weird creatures. Three headed birds, talking mice, spider eyed rabbits, headless prairie dogs, and many more monstrosities filled his drawing pad. So there he sits at his drawing table to this day, trying to get back the memories of the corn field that were stolen away from him. You can see some of these memories at www.imscared.com.

Converse 100th Anniversary Collection

Celebrating the 100th year in business, Converse is running a campaign that will see the veteraan shoe manufacturer releasing 100 different Converse sneaks including archival models dating back to 1922 until today. Expect the 100 to be released between the allocated time frame - beginning from December 2007 until March 2008. And for this month, there are already a couple of releases launched and can be viewed at their website. All shoes will be packaged in a special edition box in blue.

Porter x Levi's Collection

After several continuous interesting projects one after another with notable streetwear leaders including Original Fake and Staple Design, this time, Levi's Japan teamed up with Porter to create a range beautiful wallets in various sizes, all in black washed-out denim materials.
