Chris Walla - Field Manual

A new solo album was announced by Death Cab For Cutie's guitarist Chris Walla. The new Field Manual is set to release on January 29, 2008 under Barsuk Records, the same recording company DCFC and many other bands he worked with were signed to.

An extraordinary album of atmospheric and politically minded alternative pop that displays singular songwriting vision while simultaneously showing the degree to which his aesthetic has informed DCFC's sound over the years.- insound

Walla will use two left off tracks from DCFC's Plans.
